    I love it where I live. And every time I phone to pay my rent or to ask for repairs to be done, I get a friendly helpful voice on the other side of tbe phone. Have lived in my house for 17 years and not had a problem. Mr. Bland in particular has been very helpful and supportive. Thank You

    Just made a phone call about monies owed on our rent account after my wife has already called on three occasions (times and personal she spoke to noted). It still hasn't been sorted so I called again and asked for help very politely and spoke to a lady called Pam who when I said I was frustrated told me to "calm down" I made it very clear that I hadn't raised my voice, been rude or sworn and yet she was telling me to calm down. I explained that maybe a little empathy wouldn't go amiss but no apology or acknowledgment of the way she'd spoken to me was offered, only silence. Maybe Management could listen in to the call made at 13.00pm on Thursday 16th May and come back to me. So much for being treated with respect!! UPDATE: Just received a call from Head of Housing who is dealing with my problem now (14.30pm same day) and has apologised for my experience. It's amazing how great customer service can help you change your opinion of a company or a brand. Shame it had to escalate in the first place but thanks for your help in rectifying the problem so quickly and professionally.

    Dreadfull experiences with the repairs department at English Rural Housing Association, time and time again. Their handbook on their website states emergency repairs fixed within seven days. I've not had heating or hot water for twenty-two days in Sept 2017. In February 2016 I had no heating or hot water for ten days. No call backs from English Rural staff or their contractors to update you or confirm whats going on. Engineers don't turn up for agreed appointments when you have to taken time out from work. Again and again and again. Unprofessional with deep rooted apathy. They waste your time because they really don't care. Do yourself a favour and think twice before renting from this Housing Association. Its not worth the hassle.
