What a great club and coaches My fitness levels have improved so much training here and feel better in my self. Very friendly people and atmosphere with training to suit all abilities. I have recently achieved my black belt with the club and could never of done this with out all the help and dedication from the coaches. There are also great kids classes with them learning self defence and self discipline with fun and fitness along the way, A great way for them to build self confidence as I have seen in both the kids and adults. So pleased that I started training here at Energize and I'm always learning new stuff and improving along the way.

Fantastic instructors. Brilliant family atmosphere. My son has been coming here for years. They've helped his confidence so much! He loves coming here and they're so patient and encouraging. Thanks to Kerry and the other lovely ladies.

Great Club Been training here (admittedly on and off due to work commitments) for 6 months. Good professional instructors with solid background and experience. Sessions are well planned and have a good mix of fitness circuits, pad work and sparring all in a controlled relaxed environment. Being a bit out of shape myself would defintely recommend to anyone looking to get fit and learn a modern martial art. Suitable for all abilities. The Tuesday adult session starts straight after "kids club" which looks to be well structured with ample instructors.

I am a newbie to Energize and unfortunately had to take a break due to personal issues. My first day back was tonight and they are as friendly as ever. The adults class is after the children's and from what I have seen it's a fun safe environment for the kids. I am a Scout Leader and work for the emergency services and I believe that the children to instructors ratio looks absolutely fine and completely safe. The instructors priority is always the safety of children and adults learning. They are very knowledgeable, friendly and skillful. I would not hesitate in recommending Energize to my friends be it for them or their children. Keep up the good work Kerry and Zoe!

Energize kickboxing is a great environment for adults and children to learn martial arts, have the opportunity to achieve goals such as their Yellow belts to Black belts! For those adults who would like further goals such as fat loss, muscle gains and/or a healthier lifestyle then this is an ideal place to start! I have trained kickboxing for 12 years now and taught for 3 years along side these lovely ladies, so, speaking from experience they are great coaches, great martial artists and very friendly & welcoming!

I first brought my son to Energize when he was 5 and being bullied at school. I thought it would help him to gain confidence in himself and fend off the bullies. After a couple of lessons my son was a different boy. His confidence was up and it was evident in the way he carried himself. I was so impressed by how much time and patience the instructors Kerry and Zoe had for each child that now all my children train here! Can not recommend more highly. Energize is a fantastic club filled with good people and a fantastic atmosphere!

I'm the instructor of the children's class and founder of Energize kickboxing. I'm writing this review in response to Stephanie Staines review posted a few weeks ago. I feel I need to defend myself and our club and have my say! I totally disagree with these comments this ladies child always got a go on the punch bag, she told me when her child joined that she did not like men! So I made sure in every lesson that she went on a punch bag with a lady instructor! I make sure all my children in my class get a go on either the punch bags (we have 4 free standing ones) and I have 3 assistant instructors or the pads which are held by our Black Belt instructors! This lady rudely interrupted me whilst I was talking to another parent after the class, she was shouting at me in front of fellow students (adults and children) and it was very embarrassing as she caught me totally un aware! Yes I did raise my voice back to her which I agree was un professional and I have learnt my mistake and will not be doing this again! I have 30 children in my class and there is myself as the instructor and 3 assistant instructors (whom are all CRB checked) in my 45 minute class, I think this ratio is more than enough and most defiantly 'a safe environment' for every child in my class. I do not have 40 plus kids in one class so again this lady has exaggerated this comment! This lady said she is a professional business woman, if she is what she says she is then she has a funny way of showing this! Energize kickboxing has been established for 4 years me and my sister have worked extremely hard to make the club what it is today, and this is the first complaint we have had! We have taken on board her comments and continue to improve all our classes. Our students make our club without them we would not be where we are today. We have seen students grow into amazing well disciplined humans. And we are all very respectable. I would like to ask you if you was interested in trying martial arts at our club please come along and find out for yourself please do not listen to other people's comments and experiences. Energize is one big martial arts family, there is no ego's and we are all extremly friendly. Kind Regards Zoe
