Just had colonoscopy today and all the staff were superb. Receptionist was polite and positive and very friendly pointing out where to sit and toilets to hand. Induction nurse was a delight taking great care to check all my particulars and going into detail as to what was going to happen. Checks carrried out were full and detailed with nothing being missed. Segregation and privacy were excellent. The endoscopy crew were friendly, polite and very caring taking great care to ensure my relaxed cooperation. I had opted for Entenox,so was able to follow the procedure,and during the whole time they constantly monitored and checked my comfort and safety. The whole procedure was slick and very professional. After care was equally as friendly and professional,and during the half hour or so I was monitored closely. I was even offered a coffee with an option of biscuit or sandwich. The whole unit was scrupulously clean and well maintained, and anyone who has to have this procedure can be relaxed and at ease with a polished professional staff. Before discharge the whole thing was gone through,with a detailed explanation of what had been found, samples taken,and when and what results I would get. My grateful thanks to all the staff.

Absolutely brilliant I had a colonoscopy today.i opted for the sedation as was nervous.and I must say I never felt a thing.the nurses were very attentive and constantly checking to see how I felt. Was in and out very quickly followed by a welcome cup of tea and a sandwich.i just wanted to reassure people that it isn't painful at all just a mild tummy cramp.
