Of the many treats the Enchanted Manor has in store for anyone wise enough to drop in, their coffee is not only outright the best I’ve had on the island, but quite possibly the best I’ve had. It’s perfection. A MUST for coffee lovers. I never visited here when the previous owners had the place, but the new guys really know their stuff, are great to be around and it’s just a magic place to be. Highly recommend.

Absolutely beautiful. Each & every room is stunning in its own unique way. The receptionist Alex was the sweetest girl I've ever met too! Made us feel extremely welcome.

There’s nothing ‘Enchanted’ about waiting for a coffee and a cordial and so called delicious cake for 25 minutes, (when there are only 3 other customers), for it to come in a paper cup and a plastic reusable cup, with the burnt, stale offering of dry shortbread that was inedible; sitting in an unkempt garden looking at scaffolding towers, step ladders, broken and fairy lights. There’s nothing ‘Enchanted’ about ‘campsite style’ toilets and staff who think that clearing up something she’s dropped before serving her customers is how to encourage any return of customers. Enchanted would have been a well organised ordering/display counter, with an exciting array of sponges and fancies, rather two pieces of dry cake on offer mid-morning, no ‘tat’ on show inside what is potentially a beautiful building, chinaware for guests at the very least. And a gardener/ workman that recognises that guests will be frequenting the garden and clears away unsightly tools. More effort is needed for this establishment to be able to call it Enchanted!

This was one place that recharged our batteries and took time out. The vegetarian menu was outstanding and now I have turned to oat milk with my tea the family vibe and greeting is and has been one in a million. We will be back. We seen red squirrels even a badger eating. Don't miss out on this fantastic place we'll worth the stay. Even Sat in garden and had a beer or three. Nice peacefull retreat. Big hug guys awesome

We loved our stay at Enchanted Manor the building, rooms, breakfast is magical which matches the name enchanted we was greeted by Peta when we first arrived who made us feel very welcomed. We stayed in the Starlight room which is a very good size, room was ready when we arrived so no waiting around bedroom & bathroom very clean. Extras which was in the room mini fridge, TV & DVD player (near reception is a large collection of DVD's should you wish to watch any), tea making facilities, Iron, bathrobes which I was not expecting so this all added to the personal touch and added to the stay. Breakfast is for vegans/vegetarians which we are not but saying that the breakfast was very good and even tho I have not been converted I admit it far exceeded my expectations and I will be having vegan/vegetarian alternatives more often due to my stay here. One thing to note the Starlight room is on the 3rd floor this was not an issue for us but something to bear in mind as you have to use the stairs if you want to stay in this room also. Overall we have nothing bad to say about our stay here very friendly and helpful staff, excellent free wifi throughout the hotel, breakfast, rooms, free parking I could go on and on about the positives for our stay here. I would definitely stay here again and will be recommending to friends, family and work colleagues

I’ve heard this place described as ‘sacred’ and if you check the definition of what sacred means I wholly agree. The entire building, gardens and even the staff are connected. A truly special place - I’ve never felt so welcome before in a place of respite. If you’re reading the reviews because you’re looking for a location, look no further. Thank you Peta Kevin and family

We stayed at the enchanted manor for the Easter weekend 4 nights the stay from start to finish was fantastic we’re do I start, The lovely family that run it were amazing so friendly and welcoming in especially L her hosting was magnificent we stayed in moonlight suite which gave you views from both rooms over looking sea beautiful views. The breakfast was vegan plant based menu and tasted fantastic as you eat in morning you see the red squirrels out in the garden collecting and eating there nuts that the hosts put out for them.the location. Fabulous in nice quite village with a pub yards away which does decent grub and if you are staying in the enchanted manor you get 10% discount. everything is close enough to drive as it is Isle of Wight and nothing is to far away. The military road is good route and shows of stunning beauty of the Isle of Wight coastline. The enchanted manor hotel as such special feel and the hosts make that come through overall a brilliant break away!!!!!

From the moment we arrived, Peta and the rest of the Enchanted Manor family could not do enough for us. The rooms are stunning, and the service excellent Whilst there is no mobile signal, DUE TO THE CLIFF BEHIND THE TOWN, if you need comms then the property has wifi.. The island isn’t massive, so most places are in easy reach by car. If you are looking for a relaxing break in a discreet location then this property is highly recommended
