This country sports store is amazing, probably the best in the south. All the staff are very friendly and knowledgable. The store has many top brands under the roof, and items are well stocked. The store layout is very slick and modern but still maintains a country feel. The level of service is fabulous the minute you walk in, a very relaxed atmosphere. Tony,Ryan,Helen,Sam and the rest of team are brilliant. This is my go to shop for all my outdoor and country pursuits. They even have an under the cover outdoor range which is excellent all year round target shooting, along with a farm shop right next door. Emmett and Stone are a great, mid sized shop with a good range of different country clothes ranging in quality but definitely in the higher price range. They also are excellent gun dealers with an outstanding knowledge on different things. I went in completely new to shooting and left with a decent rifle, sight, silencer and other bits useful for the rifle. Great place to shop and will definitely be back not only to stock up on ammunition but also to purchase other bits and pieces. Very friendly and not too pushy either when it comes to selling.

I feel I must put finger to keypad in response to Mr Judge's review, well i say review but it's not really is it ? it's just an ill-mannered rant by someone who didn't like what they were being told, from what I can read Emmett & Stone haven't begged Mr Judge to sell them his rifle. he has gone to them and as such has to respect their opinion even though he may not agree with it, because their value and his value are at variance is not a reason to insult members of their staff. The simple solution at that point is to go and find someone who is willing to give you what you think it's worth. or alternatively maybe listen to the advice being given by the professional who's opinion I suspect is based solely on previous experience. I have shopped with E&S from day one, have maintained a good professional relationship with them and have even shopped elsewhere when it has suited me as is my choice, to my knowledge they haven't entered into a name calling spat because of it. I have bought numerous guns and accessories from E&S over the years I've even sold a few back to them, sometimes for less than I thought they were worth but never have I found it necessary to be insulting because my expectation was greater than theirs. The whole point of reviews is to enlighten others as to the qualities, both good and not so good of the SERVICES being offered and should not be used as a platform to personally insult people simply because their professional opinion differs from your own. So good luck with the sale of your gun Mr Judge , I hope you spend the money wisely, can I suggest some lessons in manners could be a good investment for starters. Blessings M

This place has turned from a half decent shop where the owners would serve and greet you to a oversized snobby place, the owners are hardly ever on the floor all just left for the minions to deal with no deals or haggling with them just thats the over inflated price like it or lump it and don't think about selling a gun here you'll get minimum market at best such a shame to see an upcoming establishment turn this way.
