Don't waste your time. I recommend other furniture collection charities that will do the bare minimum of turning up when they say they will. Had a real job organising collection thanks to the online system going down. Managed to book in the collection on phone for a date just before I left the country. Since it was so late a date I asked them if the collection date was definite and they said yes. Roll around to collection date and the driver apparently drove up and down the street multiple times before leaving me a voice mail that he couldn't park and wanted to reschedule the collection, as a dismantled wardrobe was more "difficult". I rang him immediately after, 20-30 times, but he didn't answer. He eventually did call back and I let him know there was a parking spot for maintenance workers. He came up for a new reason for not collecting; that it was raining and that would ruin the wardrobe. This is almost incredible as an excuse, because either one of us could have checked the weather before the day, and besides which the maintenance parking spot was **right next** to the entrance to the building. I'm talking less than five foot if he'd backed the van right up to the door way. Evidently the real reason was that he was bone-idle.

Very disappointed 😞 Thought Emmaus is a nice and decent charity show. Recently I wanted to donate them super king size bed with matress(only 6 months used) and already informed them by phone, they asked only there is a fire sticker and yes it was there. When Emmaus guys came to collect it they refused to collect it due to iron mark peeled off just rear side of the matress. Damn!!! Then I donated shoes and other cloths. Bed and matress worth of £200. As we aware many items in Emmaus used and you may see scratch marks in some items. So why our bed then? Finally they said return it to Leeds council waste 2 hrs from my weekend 👎
