Emmaus shop - excellent. Cafe - no food. Website needs updating to say no food on Sundays. Really disappointing end to an otherwise great visit.

We regularly visit Emmaus and have become fond of it. Joan's Cafe is great for lunch or a quick bite to eat before venturing around the shop. There's a range of things for sale here that are second hand but high quality. Lots of books, clothes, furniture and other household bits and bobs. Definitely worth popping in if you're in the area for a look around.

Drove an hour and half here with my sister, our 4 children and our nan after seeing a viral tiktok of this place. We planned to have lunch in the tea room after doing our shopping but disappointingly they were serving no hot food with no notice of this anywhere on their website or throughout the warehouse, just one sign near their till! This place is honestly full of overpriced and goods that are in such poor condition. £25 for a small mirror that was damaged with cracks and scuffs? You can get brand new in B&M cheaper. There were barely any children’s clothes or toys or books. In the electrical shed there were small, old TVs being sold for £40 and they didn’t even have a remote?! A dirty old fridge full of mould and absolutely stank was a mere £50. I love a charity shop but this one is over priced, full of poor condition goods and just was not worth the drive. Will not be going back!

Great place with lots of good stuff. Prices really reasonable I thought. Has recently gone viral on Tiktok which has prompted loads of visitors so was very very busy! If you're not keen on crowded places then perhaps steer clear for a few weeks or so. (April 2023)

First visit, plenty of parking, lovely gardens, & extensive shop with bargains galore, well set out and clearly marked, 10/10, UNTIL we went for cake and coffee, nothing wrong with the offerings, whole visit spoilt by surly person serving, uncivil, it was all too much for him. Disappointed, but the rest was great.

The food is burnt, bland, cold and horrible. The cake is stale. Not good. It used to be good. Now, sadly it's not edible.
