The Anglican parish of northwood. A beautiful red brick church. My visit was planned ad hoc due to tube strike. Two buses h11 and 282 pass outside. The church was due to host a wedding ceremony that afternoon so I visited in the morning. The church operates a weekly morning food bank on every Friday including I was told Good Friday. The church has a connection to the Irish Guards during the war and a large war morning in the chancel area. Their is some beautiful stainglass windows. ECN is a peaceful place to sit and be. And to pray. The church has a daughter church Eastbury which meets in a school. The website is very informative.
