  Working with Emma was absolutely incredible! Her work speaks for itself, but her kind and caring relaxed demeanour are what we came away from our day in the life photoshoot! Photo sessions can sometimes feel awkward or uncomfortable, but with Emma it felt like she was an old friend. Her work is beautiful and captured all the fun and the quiet in-between moments.   We chose Emma to take photos of our family at home after the birth of our first baby because of the incredible quality of her photos and also her clear documentary style which suited our ideas about having photos taken. She is incredibly warm and reassuring. It was important to me to have a photo of me breastfeeding my baby as I was struggling with this journey and wasn’t sure it would last, but I was also self conscious and wanted it to be a lovely memory. She managed this so beautifully and it is a photo that means a lot to me. She really captured a day in our lives in that incredibly intimate newborn stage… nappy changes and sleep and crying and love… it’s all there so we can’t forget it. It’s amazing how those memories blur and drift away and I am so glad I have that record for us. Thank you Emma. Only lockdown prevented another newborn shoot with #2 but we hope to have her take some family photos with us when our second is a little older.

  Emma had taken photos of one of my daughter's children so when we were planning a naming ceremony for another daughter's first child, Emma was the first person we thought of. Working with her was an absolute delight from our first meeting (on Zoom) to discuss what we had in mind, right through to viewing the gallery of photos she had assembled from the 100s she took on the day itself. Emma was so friendly and easy to have around that everyone seemed to forget that she was there taking photos and, consequently, the images she captured are so natural and really reveal the personalities of all the members of the family, from the youngest (six months) to the oldest (60+). I can't recommend her too highly - she is a very talented photographer who manages to put everyone at ease - and the result is a really high quality collection of family photos that will be enjoyed for many years to come.

  Don’t ever kid yourself that you will remember every detail of your children when they were younger! The days are long but the years are not and I’m so happy that I have Emma’s photographic memories to look back on… the way we interacted as a family, the sibling relationships and even the chaos is to be cherished! Most things look better through the human eye but Emma manages to capture life brilliantly through her lens.

  Emma is brilliant. I found her on facebook, loved her work and waited patiently to get a place on a mini-shoot. She took my three daughters (who were end-of-term exhausted, one of them was a bit poorly, and they had bickered prior to the shoot), and put them at complete ease. Emma is natural, charismatic and seriously talented. Highly recommended for joyful, real-life, beautiful photographs.
