I absolutely love this place!! It has a cafe where they also sell afternoon tea. They do tours which is amazing, couple shops to visit, but my all time fav is the painting studio. I go every year for my birthday but I just love going for making personal items, not just for myself but family! Great day out! Highly recommend it! Here are a few bits ive done but i had the christmas bauble as a gift. So honestly...don't think about it, just do it and go!

Dispute being unsure about what to design it all turned out very well. Came on a works day out and it was thoroughly enjoyed. Did the painting in the decorating studio. Quick intro on how it's works before you begin. Loads of sponges to choose from, brushes, pencils. 90 mins was plenty of time. 2-3 weeks for collection or can be posted. Plenty of car park spaces. Great gift shop. Unfortunately didn't have the afternoon tea as it was fully booked. Recommend booking early. Definitely a great way to spend a few hours.

Absolutely love the Emma Bridgewater factory. Been twice now to decorate in the studio and it's such a fab experience. Prices range from £8 there is a rather extravagant teapot for over £100! We painted two large mugs, a candle holder and a large plate and paid £55 The painting experience itself is very well laid out, all colour options you can think of and there's so many stamps to use it's not your average pottery painting studio. You can freehand if you like but the stamps range from letters and numbers to welly boots and spades so there really is something for everyone. Wheelchair accessible parking and entrance. Grounds are suitable for access too and in the shop there is a stair lift for access. All pram friendly. The seconds shop is also a delight there's so much to look through and some great bargains. Yes the items are pricey but you really do get what you pay for the pottery lasts forever.

I love Emma Bridgewater pottery and visiting the factory shop when I'm in Stoke, it is 5 star. The cafe is quaint and has a nice selection of cakes. However, I was not impressed by the attitude of the server. When she brought the tea I ordered she wanted payment there & then. She said I had to pay in case I decided to get up and leave without paying. I have never been so insulted. If this is how they want to run the cafe then either have people order and pay before they sit like they used to or as in most other sit down places bring a receipt so people can pay after they have finished. But please insulting people like this is not the way to go about running a business!!
