Advised it would take 3 weeks to shorten a dress, and I’d get a phone call when it was ready. 3 weeks came and went so I phoned them to be told my dress was next to be done; apparently the seamstress was busy sewing curtains but it should be done by the end of the week. End of the week, nothing, so phoned again - your item is next to be done I’m told, which is what I’d been told the first time I called. When queried when it would be ready I just got it’s next to be done. At this point I decided to collect the dress and take it to somewhere that offers a reliable service within a reasonable time frame. On collection I did receive an apology - staff sickness had caused the issue…erm, not what I’d been told before! Hence, I can’t comment on the quality of work because after 4 weeks nothing had been done!
