I have been having treatments at Emerald Flame for many months and will continue to as long as I can. I am 40 years old and have lived with anxiety all of my adult life. I learned coping strategies to manage some childhood trauma such as throwing myself into study and work and covered this up to a certain degree. Nobody would have guessed how I felt inside. Eventually the chronic stress and anxiety did get too much for me and started to seep out. Around 4 years ago I had to go on medication to help control the symptoms and I booked some psychotherapy. The talking has been helping so much but I got to a point where I felt that I had talked enough. I also started to get unwanted side effects from the medication. I realised that I had so much stored negative energy and suppressed negative feelings. I started using some mindfulness exercises at home and realised how relaxation could really benefit me. I came across Emerald Flame when I was searching for some complementary and alternative therapies. I booked a consultation and I’ve never looked back. Lindsay has really helped me to release some of that stored energy by guiding my mind and body into a state of deep relaxation. I have tried Reiki, Crystal healing and 1-2-1 guided meditation. I am really enjoying the process. I am a tough nut to crack as there’s so much buried emotion but each session Lindsay helps bring some of that to the surface and release it. The journey of healing takes a lot of hard work. It can’t happen overnight. Lindsay is helped me to the point where I have been able to stop psychotherapy and medication and manage my stress and anxiety symptoms with holistic therapies. I have even stopped grinding my teeth which is amazing. This symptom is something that I have always had. Lindsay is extremely knowledgeable and professional and her treatment room is very warm and relaxing. I recommend 100%. I am so glad that I decided to give myself this time out and that I chose Lindsay for my healing journey.

Having had two different treatments with Emerald Flame, I would highly recommend them! The sessions are held in a calming space, Lindsay explains everything that will happen and is sensitive to your reasons for going. After each session, I have at the least felt calm and rebalanced, will be returning for more Reiki and Crystal healing.
