A brilliant experience! Ian, Duncan and Kieran were fantastic; really accommodating in giving us the freedom to enjoy our stag weekend at our own leisure. From butchery to foraging, axe throwing to spoon whittling, we all throughly enjoyed the unique experience in such a great location. Will be recommending to family & friends for sure.

Had the best time doing a full day of Bushcraft. Duncan was incredibly friendly, knowledgeable and patient. The food was excellent and the activities were great fun. Highly recommend!

I attended a weekend Stag event at Embers Bushcraft and it was a great experience. A perfect mix of learning, practising, and applying timeless skills, under the expert guidance of our host Ian. Ian’s knowledge & passion across the wide variety of subject matter was exceptional, & everyone left with new skills & knowledge that they will never forget. I’d recommend this experience to everyone, old & young too. I will almost certainly be going back in the future and my 13yr old daughter wants to go with her friends now too :)

Just returned from a stag do at Embers Bushcraft and all I can say is it was fantastic. Superb facilities from the bell tents to the hammocks and fantastic hosting from Ian and Sam. The knowledge and passion that they bring to the activities is second to none and we were incredibly well looked after all weekend. A massive thank you for everything you did for us and everything you took us through even if I couldn’t get those axes to stick….! Oh and Sorry for destroying patches of nettles searching for lost cricket balls - blame the stag!

Ian and his team hosted a Bushcraft birthday party for our 8 year old and it was utterly brilliant! We had nearly 30 children building their own camp fires, making their own lunch and generally having a complete ball playing games and building dens in the woods. All superbly run which meant that as parents we were able to relax and enjoy watching the kids learn new skills and have a brilliant time.

I asked Ian for a team building day that took everyone just outside their comfort zone but was still relaxed and enjoyable for all concerned. A tricky combination but carefully planned and well delivered it was a real success. The icing on the cake is the lovely setting of the Embers camp, the friendly, capable team and the best venison stew I have eaten !
