My partner and I booked the sword making class over one day and it was absolutely fantastic! Honestly one of the most fun days out we've ever had. Couldn't recommend it enough - we haven't stopped raving about it ever since and are so pleased with our swords.

Had a wonderful two day experience with Richard forging a Damascus Knife. From the start, Richard was the ideal teacher, offering a perfect mix of guidance and expertise from start to finish. He was very flexible with our ideas on what we'd like to forge and as a result of his careful tuition and occasional help (which was extremely welcome, Richard is an expert blacksmith and knew exactly what to do to course correct any small mistakes we made) we were both able to forge knives to be proud of. I would not hesitate to do another course with Richard again and are already planning another visit next year to forge something new. If you are on the fence about trying this, then please get off the fence and book a course with Ember Ironwork immediately, it has been one of the most fun experiences I've ever had.
