After trying to get some technical Support for a very expensive £10K Medema Mini Crosser X2 that they supplied, I was literally shouted at down the phone by a very rude lady. I have never been spoken to like that and I can see why they have now lost the Medema franchise - suggest to look elsewhere for a more friendly and professional company to deal with.

BEWARE of this company. Make sure your elderly relatives and friends have someone with them when they do a demonstration. As the vast majority of todays elderly do not use comparison sites they are disadvantaged, and are vulnerable to preying companies such as Elite Mobility. Firstly you cannot get an idea of the price of their mobility scooters when you ring their 0800 number or their customer services. Bearing in mind their office is above the shop, someone would know. This leads me to what happened to us. Without my or my sister’s knowledge our mother of 90 who was indeed very frail and hard of hearing read about this company in the Daily Mirror. She wanted a mobility scooter that automatically folds up as the one she previously purchased had to be done manually. The company sent someone down and was charged £3899, yes £3899. You can buy the exact same one, albeit with a different name, from another company for £1700. As with all good conmen, they then proceeded to say but, we can do better for you, we can take off the 20% vat which takes it down to £3249. But wait, we can do better, we will px your old scooter which had cost £999 and only used about 3 times, and take off £349. Hey presto its now £2900. Goody my mother thought and bought the scooter on 31st January 2023. However, she was a canny woman who saw off many would be scammers but this company has taken the prize, and she feared she had been conned. Her fears manifested into a dangerous situation. She hadn’t told us and her health drastically deteriorated. She said she wanted to die and just gave up and we couldn’t understand her sudden change in her. A few days before her death she confessed what had happened and she died tragically on 5th March. We contacted Elite Mobility and explained that she had died and had not used the scooter and asked whether they would buy back the brand new machine. No, they said, its gone over 14 days and they don’t have a policy of buying back goods. Nothing personal they said. We contacted them on a number of occasions to try and get something out of it, they said if we could sell it on they would honour the warranty. That’s mighty big of them. As during one conversation they laughed and said they’ve done nothing illegal so we could try and sue them and again said, its nothing personal. Well it is personal, they conned an old lady and worried her to death. So as I said, beware

went into their store this week for information on prices and types of scooters available, they came up with two options of which one is exactly what i was after, the scooter is second hand but well presented and very clean. and all being well my wife will be back in monday to pay for it as long as its still available, fingers crossed, so i am very pleased with their expertise and stock. ajk

It's easy to get a good review when nothing has happened, the real test is how a company reacts when a fault occurs with a product. My Mini Crosser M2 mobility scooter didn't like doing more than 20 miles, it broke down, without any argument Elite Mobility replaced the motor, transaxle, and wheels. I've just got back from doing 30 miles on it, and there's still plenty of juice left in it.

I don't think you could get a nicer bunch of people. They tried valiantly to help me and I felt sorry for them, because distance defeated things. Even then they helped me get someone more local. I think they really cared.
