This is literally Aladdin’s cave, a true wonderland of antique furniture. We came for a dining table and left having bought a ton more. Chris is not only a fountain of knowledge but also an all round great guy you can trust. And, the prices are super reasonably - don’t forget these pieces are 100+ years old and you are welcoming an old piece with lots of history.

Just taken delivery of a dining room table from Elisabeth James Antiques. Chris and the team have restored the 13ft table beautifully and sensitively, on time, delivered it and set up, and it looks wonderful (I can’t work out how to download a picture! 😂). He has an amazing stock of wonderful furniture, a talented team of restorers, great service and you get a beautiful 18th or 19th century table which will last another few hundred years for the same price as a piece of junk from the Conran shop - what’s not to like!!!

After having had a lovely dining table and chairs from Chris a couple of years ago we got in touch again when looking for a large kitchen table and chairs. We had looked at several new tables (God knows why!) and just couldn't find what we wanted. So we went to see Chris and he pulled out several different tables. We immediately chose one. It was too long though.....No problem for Chris and his team! Duly shortened and then the pieces made in to extensions for if we ever needed them. We described what we would like the table to look like.....light oak bit still showing signs of wear and tear. Then we looked at several different chairs. The ones we chose were much, much darker but by some great skills Chris and his team have made them look just right with the table. He really can achieve what you want. We are so pleased with the results. The photos speak for themselves.....

Whether you are looking for one specific item or to furnish a home Chris is worth speaking to.
