My mum, sister and I (age range 40-70) had a superb evening at Eleven. The place is homely and welcoming. The staff were wonderful; patient with us trying our rusty French with them and helpful with food and wine choices. The food was sublime and we all agreed it's the best meal we have had for ages; between us we had the salted beetroot, smoked duck croquettes and moules to start, steak, venison and chicken for mains and the mille feuille and creme brulee for desserts. I had the Venison and it was absolutely delicious! I cannot recommend this place enough and wish I lived closer so I can go every week! A true gem of a place.

This is a gem of a restaurant. Small and intimate with a relaxed atmosphere, but there was space for our party of 10. We were greeted warmly and the hosts were extremely friendly and looked after us very well. The menu is small but perfectly formed, and is clearly planned with great care. The dishes we had were exquisite and beautifully presented. Look out for the chocolate mousse, it’s divine! Vegetarian options: Delicious and carefully thought out vegetarian French dishes. The chive gnocchi was particularly tasty.
