I came in looking like a rat, and came out looking like a barbie doll. Ms. 'Elegant' has done a fantastic job for me over the last 17 years, and has never ceased to amaze me. I naturally have thin hair, but these extensions have been a life saviour, and has added the volume to my hair that I've always wanted! Definitely would recommend.

I’ve been having extentions done for years and I tried this place out. I got a 22 inch weave After 2 months the hair is absolutely frazzled, I always use oil, wash it once a week and take care of it and this has not even helped this hair. I am massively shocked as I politely let them try take action themselves to come up with an outcome fair for both myself and the company but their reply was “ We do as we should do to run the business as we always be honest about everything, the hair it good quality as the price we do , and been run for over 18 years and I always wanted to do as we should sort if you don’t think we doing right. sorry if you don’t think the same way” an absolute joke as I’m now stuck with hair I’m not happy with! Avoid this place at all costs!

Would not recommend this place for anyone who doesn't fit their usual clientele. If I could rate 0 I would. Being someone of colour and having hair that isn’t the usual texture, it’s Afro Caribbean, I advised this in advance and put my trust in this business for a standard full head of hair weave. I left so upset and distraught with a weave that looked so ridiculous. I cannot believe a business would actually be happy with this and let someone leave their establishment looking this way. I was to embarrassed to even walk to my car. I was given no sort of refund and they were unwilling to deviate from their standard process to make it look representable. They didn’t even try and curl my hair to try and blend it in or attempt anything to make it look more natural. Instead they charged me full price with no source of any reimbursement for the mess they had made me look. The lady who did the weave also had the audacity to say it looked good and let me leave the building looking that way. To sort out the mess they had done, I had to go elsewhere immediately afterwards and pay an additional £100 at another business- Queen Malika in Portsmouth (which I cannot thank enough for helping me sort out the mess elegant had made). Queen Malika’s business had to remove all of the hair immediately after and redo it all to fix the damage Elegant had done. Not only did it look a complete state, but also they had sewn in so much hair into each row with the smallest plaits that if it had stayed that way I would of ended up with multiple bald patches, as the hair would of been to heavy for each plait to hold. Therefore, I reiterate do not use ‘Elegant’ if your hair doesn't fit there standard process. If they had of been honest and said they weren’t sure on my hair type at the start rather then taking the money and just doing it and making a mess, they clearly care solely about the money and not the service they provide or representation it poses on leaving people looking ridiculous.
