I've been seeing Sonia for about a year now for facial hair removal using electrolysis. She has been amazing since day one, making sure I understood the process, the commitment and how to make sure I was as comfortable as possible during my sessions. Despite the inevitable discomfort of electrolysis I look forward to every session as Sonia is delightful company and takes into account how I'm feeling each day to tailor my treatment. As a trans woman I have been very pleased with how supportive Sonia has been and have never felt uncomfortable or unsafe while at her business. I cannot recommend her highly enough. Can't recommend Sonia's services highly enough, especially for black people or dark skin people! She's very professional, fair and highly experienced in what she does. Her prices are really good. She's super effective at removing hair quickly with no side effects, and leaving absolutely no damage behind. She's great at minimising any discomfort that comes with electrolysis, and even though I was nervous with starting treatment at first, I don't have any regrets doing it here. I've been doing electrolysis for less than a year, once every 6 weeks or so and hair has thinned out or disappeared completely As a black woman I'm really glad I found her! I travel around 2 hours to go to her clinic and it's fully worth it.

She was patient and walked me through every step of the electrolysis process and answered every one of the questions I had. I wish I had gone to her clinic years ago! (I hope my comment is not deleted as I will post again) Ladies I do NOT recommend going here if you are really struggling with excessive hair on your face or for a large area and need long sessions because of the amount of hair. find someone who has the time and is willing to give you it and not over book clients. I literally had to beg Sonia for longer or more sessions as she would NOT give me more than 30 minutes even though I literally had a beard and offered to come in twice a week to work on different areas. It was obvious it was because she was overbooked. She had no compassion that I had to go to work growing out my beard and responded ‘so do all of my clients’. I am now with someone who is apart of the British Institute & Association of Electrolysis’s who is professional & compassionate, offers marathon sessions and clears my face in one session and it’s no problem.. the best thing I did was to not continue here. Not recommended at all If you feel that she doesn’t have the time to give you long enough sessions otherwise it will take twice the amount of time to even get to a clearance. Also Sonia is not helpful in advising in regards to Electrolysis. Ladies, if u need to shave pls do it in between sessions as long as your not pulling the hair from the root (waxing). You’ll be left growing your hair out if you follow advise given here and it’ll just impact your mental health negatively because ‘all of her clients do it’ :/ Service: Electrolysis

She knows how to work on black skin and identified my problem as soon as she saw me.
