Then they came out and did a site visit to make sure it would fit in the new extension. Fitting was great, they were very flexible in the date as we had building work which needed to be done.     Can recommend highly ELB Fireplaces of Leigh, from our first visit to the showrooms to the actual install it has been a pleasure dealing with them. Jordan and Jason from the team came to install the log burner. From first coming to the house, they were fantastic, and engaging after completing the work you couldn't actually tell they had been in the house leaving it tidy.     ELB were recommended to me by a mutual friend as I sought the installation of a log burner to replace a faulty old gas fire. Having no idea what I was doing at any point of the process, Leon was excellent from the first phonecall, sending proposals, options, photos, pricings, before visiting the property swiftly and booking his team in for the job less than 2 months later. The installation itself could have been complicated - removing the gas fire, replacing the old hearth but preserving the original fireplace, and installing the log burner & flue down a very high chimney, but all was done with minimal fuss in a day and a half of friendly chat, tea and biscuits. We love the new fire and fireplace, and the cats are very happy. Leon is a lovely guy, as are the rest of the team, and that allows a base of trust which is so important in this kind of work.
