We got to pop in to their place to try out dishes a few months in advance, Laura was super helpful and made organising everything a breeze, and the food on the day itself was consistently excellent. Couldn't recommend them highly enough.

El Kantina did the full day of food for our wedding and they were amazing. The team were so friendly and Laura was invaluable. Communication before the wedding was excellent and our tasting evening trying all the food was by far the best bit of wedding planning! On the day they ran everything so smoothly and were a lovely, friendly presence in the day. The food was delicious and they catered for all the dietary needs our guests threw at them - even lots of small children! Best of all they found us to make sure we'd eaten some of everything throughout the day and if there were any complications at all they didn't make it to us noticing! I'd strongly recommend El Kantina for any event -- you won't regret it!

I have a really restricted diet but without any prior warning staff (esp Emily) went out of their way to ensure that I had great quality food throughout the day at a wedding at Left Bank, Leeds. In fact, I can't recall any food and drink business ever trying so hard. Would be 6 stars if that were possible.

We wanted something a bit different for our wedding, and as we love Mexican food, el kantina seemed to be the perfect choice for our wedding food and we were not disappointed! Incredibly professional and were bliss to organise things with, and couldn’t have done more to get the perfect menu for us! Our guests loved all of it! Would highly recommend to anyone! Our guests loved it, as did we, and El Kantina been such an absolute pleasure to deal with from start to finish. We wanted some laid back, fun and delicious food and that’s exactly what they brought ! We got so many lovely comments about the food and the friendly service. > Also an extra thank you for portioning up our wedding cake for us (which was not coping in the heat) another 20 mins in the heat and I think it would of ended up on the floor so these guys kindly got it sorted for us. > > We honestly had the best of days and we’re still smiling. Laura was really informative, provided quick responses and nothing was too much effort for her and her team. The team even came all the way from York to Anglesey to cater for us! Our guests LOVED the food so much so, they were upset to google and find they don't own a restaurant! It was great that we could even provide a similar banquet to our guest with food allergies. Literally they just went above and beyond and we couldn't have asked for anything more. Thank you so much. You helped provide us with a day we will never forget!

As an event planner myself, I am used to working with a variety of other fantastic small businesses and suppliers to create memorable events and celebrations for others. On this occasion however, it was a private celebration for my family and friends over the Easter weekend in North Yorkshire. There was a lot of pressure for me to deliver a fabulous weekend for all, including sourcing some really tasty food. Laura was amazing from our first conversation at the beginning of the year, listening to our requirements, dietary request, location set up and timings. Nothing was a problem. On the day, Jack from El Kantina arrived on time at the venue with their cool trailer and created a real buzz for all the guests during set up. Emily did a fantastic job of looking after us all night long, ensuring we were all happy and full. I have to say the food was unbelievable, so tasty and fresh. If you are having a celebration, I would not hesitate to recommend El Kantina for their great service and delicous food. Thank you so much for ensuring we had such a fabulous time!
