I've been a member of EKA for about a year now and was a little reluctant to join at first, being a 30 something unfit father of 4, I was a little reluctant but was dragged along by my good friend to give it a go. What can I say, from the moment I stepped onto that Dojo I was made to feel part of the family straight away, I was kind of hoping they would ease me into things but no, I was quite literally thrown into things (mainly the floor) but there is never any judgment, just plenty of encouragement with a good amount of Banter thrown in for good measure. Steve is one hell of a Sensei, I've not trained at any other school, but I'll be surprised if there is anyone better out there, I mean apart from the guy being a 7th Dan Blackbelt with countless belts and titles to he's name and is literally in the hall of fame in the martial arts world, Steve is also one of the most motivational kindest person you could meet. The only negative thing I will say about EKA is that you will not be able to ever cancel your membership! you are not members here, you are family, and unfortunately we all know we can't cancel our family as much as some of us wish we could sometimes. 🙂

Went there and did the trial which wad free for my first session and really enjoyed it as it didn't just teach you martial art but also helped with fitness would definitely recommend to anyone looking for an alternative to the gym
