    Coach Eddie is a natural when is comes to teaching, his friendly manner combined with a vast knowledge of his art and the way he breaks down each move allows all levels to garner and improve their skills. The academy has a warm, friendly and encouraging feel where anyone is welcome and there are no stupid questions. As someone who struggles with absorbing information and learning, it has been a breath of fresh air to attend a class feeling equal and not judged. 10/10

    Great Jiu Jitsu Academy! Coach Eddie and the rest of the coaches are absolutely the best. Coach Eddie has a very effective teaching style! In the academy exists this warm “family” feeling whilst they also teach you discipline, respect and of course Jiu Jitsu! Very happy to be part of them! Highly recommended!

    The school is amazing. Very high standard of teaching and very friendly. The gym is also very, very clean and has white kimono only rule for adult classes. I like that. I’ve signed my two boys (6y and 8y old) and they enjoyed it so much I’ve signed up for adult classes as well. Now I do more classes than them - haha. Highly recommended for all ages and skill levels :)

    Having trained several martial arts, i find Gracie Jiu-Jitsu to be the most effective & rewarding. After "gym hopping" in my younger years, i have been settled here at EKBJJ HQ for just over 2 years, i can safely say i have no intention of ever leaving. Professor Kone teaches with a attention to detail approach and is very knowledgeable on his art. All the instructors including professor himself are very approachable and happy to assist everyone. My Jiu-Jitsu knowledge in this time has increased tenfold & i have met some amazing instructors and students i consider friends for life.

    I attended EKBJJ as a complete beginner this week. I am not usually one to leave reviews, but my experience here made me have to. I attended an evening beginners class, lead by Coach Dan. I was welcomed into that class like I would be to my family Christmas meal. In my dodgy tracksuit bottoms and baggy t shirt, I took the class and Coach Dan + Other members of the class helped me every step of the way, helping me understand each part of what we were doing. This environment is the friendliest, most encouraging I have ever experienced. Highly recommend.

As a female, I have found this to be an exquisite experience- i found triggers within myself that the coaches and Professor all help me break down and conquer.
