Went to this venue for a boat club event - staff members were quite rude towards myself and my friends, upon arrival they were looking at my friends trainers and questioning if they would let her in (even though on the ticket they didn’t specify a dress code for girls not to wear trainers) They also ‘advised’ my friend to put her jacket in the cloakroom as they said it ‘dresses down’ her outfit. One of my friends got charged £30 for a drink, when we all were charged £15 for the same drink. Staff members weren’t helpful when one of my friends had lost their belongings they didn’t bother to help search. The event was supposed to finish at 11, but they stopped the music & event at 10, and everyone had to leave the building in the lift (which only allows 6 at a time,) this took forever for us all to exit as there wasn’t another option to use the stairs, which is definitely a safety hazard. Wouldn’t recommend going to this venue for a boat club event again.
