Without prejudice What a joker, this little man has no idea. The company is a joke, can't do anything correctly or safely. They keep changing company names and deleting reviews. Ever noticed there is no comments on there Facebook adverts. Avoid at all costs, promises of MCs accreditation, part p and dno will never happen. This company tells more lies and makes false promises than I have had hot dinners. I have had to bin there installation and replace it with a proper accredited company and have roof repaired and electrics made safe. Roll on the court hearing. Worst company I ever dealt with This company is a sister company to energy home uk, same address, same director's, same bs

EHBL and Energy Home and are one and the same company. Run by the same director. I signed up for a solar system with Energy Home at the beginning of May. I was quite surprised that they gave me an installation date of the following week. They couldn’t do the full job as it turned out, they couldn’t find a scaffolder apparently. But they installed the inverter(s) and electrics. 10 weeks later I was still waiting for the scaffolder. The communication in this time was non-existent, I was always the one pushing for information. They didn’t reply to emails at all. In that time I decided to do a little more research in to the company and found they weren’t on the MCS register, I also looked in to regulations around DNO certification and found that what they had actually installed at my property (a 4KW inverter for the panels and a 5Kw inverter for the battery charger), needed G99 pre-approval with the network operator (DNO). It was also not as specified in my contract, which was for a 3.6KW Hybrid inverter. This concerned me somewhat, so I contacted EH and asked for written proof of their accreditation and assurance that the correct approvals had been sought. ‘Charlie’ assured me he would send all the details I’d requested the next day, including his personal contact details. No email or details arrived. At that point I’d lost all trust in them and requested a full refund of my deposit. I got no replies to my emails, until I threatened them with a section 75 chargeback on my credit card. James Cooling (director) said I’d get my refund on removal and collection of the installed gear. The day before the arranged date, Lee Furneaux (other director) said I’d receive a refund of less that my full deposit (by £350), which I declined to accept. Lee phoned me up early that morning and was aggressive and rude when I continued to insist on a full refund under the Consumer Protection Act. A refund I was entitled to by law. Ultimately they conceded after they’d collected the gear and gave me my full deposit back, but It was a horrific, stressful experience and I literally had to fight all the way for my money. I’ll end this review with a quote from my final email from Lee who threatened me with court action, which will tell you everything you need to know about them “G99 form is just advisory of the installation with max limit on system” Look up the difference between G99 and G98 up in the regulations. Energy Home is now in the process of being shut down. Lee has started a new company EHBL UK. Be warned they are the same.

Lee has so many failed companies behind him and is currently being investigated by the authorities. The man lies his way through live and always has several companies on the go at once, I suspect to beat the bailiffs. Numerous successful claims have been made under Section 75 and via Chargeback. Make sure you research fully to save yourself a load of grief.

AVOID This company is by far the worst company I have ever dealt with Lied about certification, did not provide the paperwork required by law and installed an unsafe solar array Director is abusive, and uses threats to try to intimidate you. Find an installer that is more than a wide boy sales outfit intent on taking your money

Without prejudice EHBL is another company set up Lee furneaux who runs Energyhome. Energyhome has been making false claims about the services they can provide and Mis selling to many people. They install dangerous equipment by unqualified contractors, won’t certify it because they don’t have the credentials to do so then will use bully boy tactics to try and get the money. Avoid them at all costs or you will regret it. You have been warned, do your research on companies house etc, any good reviews or testimonials are false and made up by the director lee furneaux as he scrabbles to a scrape another company together and continue the deceit.

Without Prejudice - Worst customer service I have ever experienced was from Lee Furneaux (Director of EH/EHBL). We had solar panel system installed this year by Lee Furneaux, when we had issues we were either ignored for months or he would resort to threatening emails. He misrepresented his company’s accreditations numerous times, verbally as well as on the website and on text message. The company did not seek correct approvals for our system (G99)which meant our installation was illegal and our Direct Network Operator (DNO) told us they could request our installation to be uninstalled. The fact there is a Facebook group with over 70 unhappy customers of EH and EHBL speaks volumes.

WITHOUT PREJUDICE Avoid like the plague! We were unfortunate enough to use the ‘sister company’ to this, Energy Home instead of Energy Home and Business/EHBL (although the correct registered company name is Renewable Energy Home and Business). The Managing Director, Lee Furneaux, has desperately been trying to hide any negative press that he gained for Energy Home by removing as many traces of that company as possible, and ‘tweaking’ the company name. He has removed the Google listing and reviews for Energy Home Ltd, as well as completely taking down the Facebook page, and former listing on BARK!. He is responsible for poor quality installations. We have numerous issues, and are left with a system which is unfit for purpose. Lee Furneaux is a menace, and threatens anyone who dares to complain about him. I have numerous emails and screenshots to prove this. Some of the installs done by Energy Home have been downright dangerous, ours included. We have had to have remedial works carried out to make some of the worst aspects safe. Lee Furneaux has now started trading under a different company name, but it appears still using the same staff who are either incompetent, or lazy. To put it simplistically, EHBL is Energy Home. Please see the Facebook group ‘Energy Home UK Ltd & Renewable Energy Home and Business Ltd User Group’ on Facebook for many, many examples of poor workmanship, threatening behaviour, and dangerous installs. If you decide to get mixed up with these guys, don’t say I didn’t warn you! He needs to be stopped from constantly ripping people off for substandard work. I’m certain a monkey could be trained to install systems better than his company does.
