Lovely food, I'm a wheat free vegan so finding a place that can provide a great meal for me whilst keeping my meat eating family and friends happy is always good. Everyone's meals where great, the staff are very friendly and helpful and the building is lovely. Will definitely visit again

Went for a half price kebab, very disappointed. Chicken was weirdly hard, all veg on the kebab were raw and inedible. I felt over charged and that was at £7. I hate to say this because I've been to Ego so many times and loved it. Service very good as always - I have no doubt they would have been sorry to hear this (I can never bring myself to say this to them when they ask how it was!)

Really enjoyed Sunday lunch here. We had a gluten-free option. So no Yorkshire puds or stuffing balls, which is understandable.(I wonder if pubs would consider buying in frozen gluten-free Yorkshire puds or stuffing for us celiac types?- that would be such a treat!!) Meat was lovely - I had the trio, chicken, beef, and pork loin. Roasties were crispy on the outside, fluffy in the middle, so they were spot on. Roast carrot and parsnip was lovely. Leek and cabbage were good too, would have liked a little more green veg option (broccoli or green beans), but that's being a bit picky. Dessert was the passion fruit and strawberry Eton mess... this was delicious, albeit my total calorific in take for about a week! Service was great, really attentive, and welcoming g without being overbearing. Lovely atmosphere. Would definitely come back here for Sunday lunch! Dietary restrictions: Gluten free menu and very accommodating.
