A brilliant place to eat with a Mediterranean menu. There are a great choice of drinks to be had also including Estrella and Amstel, you will also find an ale or two. There is a very good choice of starters and main courses too. There is a dessert and coffee menu available. The staff are very friendly and helpful to all. The food is of very good quality and there is also offers to be had if you join their mailing list. There are also set menus available on a Monday where you can get any 2 courses for 19.95 which is brilliant value. There is also a prix fix menu available most days too. Sunday lunch is very popular. Book in advance to avoid disappointment. I really highly recommend that you visit Ego if the menu is for you. I have now been on numerous occasions and EGO always delivers top quality food and service.

Last night, myself and 5 friends went to the first Tapas Wednesday of the year, 27/04/23. All of us are ego club members and we had received email offer, This encouraged us to book. The email which we had all seen offered 3 Tapas dishes for £13 or a gift voucher of 8 Tapas dishes for £40. We got to Ego and the emails had vanished. Some people had wisely printed off their email. We were told this was the first Ego Bromsgrove knew about these offers. It was uncoordinated and cost more substantially than we expected it to. The food was good and tasty, but offers should have been honoured. Always print out any offers you see. We are a group called the Tuesday Night Noshers, set up many years ago. We are a foodie group, we know what we are eating, we know if it is worth the price based on taste. We go to various restaurants and gastropubs around the Southern West midlands or at times farther abroad if we get together. We went to the first Tapas night of 2023. We booked a table for 6. There was a tapas menu, and then there was the usual Ego Posh Menu. I stuck to the tapas menu and had nice food. I had 2 pints of beer. The others mixed and matched their menus. At the end 4 of us had £150 bill. The other lady had a £25 bill. You really need to watch this like a hawk, or you will have an unexpected bill, or potential embarrassment. The following review is from 2 years ago.4 of us went for lunch. As stated it has a Mediterranean style cookery. We sat outside as it was very warm and sunny. The beer garden is alongside the A38 which is not the quietest place. This is the second time I have eaten here and the food has always been good
