I had gone to pick up my nephews cake on time. The staff couldn't first find the order, then I was told I'm an hour early, which I showed them the confirmation it wasn't. Then I had to wait half an hour for them to get it ready. I had to take it to my brother's house. Which meant that all our plans had been delayed just because they hadn't got the cake ready on time . VERY DISAPPOINTED!

Bespoke birthday cake from eggless cakeshop smethwick. I asked for a birthday cake for a small birthday party which featured around my son's passion for his favourite punjabi artist, Diljit Dosanjh, and football team Liverpool FC. The cake speaks for it self i was in constant contact with the shop modifying the cake and the lady, whose name i think was Nicky, was happy to help and showed me regular updates with the cake ensuring it was created my specification. DO NOT BUY YOUR BIRTHDAY CAKE HERE! PLEASE! I would give 0 if that was possible! I ordered a cake two days before my birthday as it’s mentioned on their website. Nice simple red velvet cake. The pick-up time was 4,30 on Friday 21 Jan I went there at 5 and she was like oh wait cake should be ready she went inside come back and said to wait 5 min, ok. After 10 min I asked and she was like they are busy so if I can wait other 10 min that’s fine I’m not bothered waiting if I can get what I want and what I ordered! After 40 min one lady came outside with a horrible cake which they made at the time so it wasn’t already ready and it was completely opposite for what I asked. I want to be clear, the cake I asked was one from their website so they should know how to make this. It was the cake RD193 which was supposed to be white and peach but came out yellow and an horrible pink with pink flowers. I’m so disappointed I was so happy with their service before but NOT now. People go there to have cake to celebrate their SPECIAL days not to be disappointed on their birthday. So please, don’t ruin your birthday go somewhere else.
