Bought myself a red velvet, but the entire sponge and cream on top was dry, the other Forest Berry cake we got seemed fresh. But then the Black Forest was also dry. So dry that it crumbles into dust.

My family bought this gorgeous cake/gateaux for me on my 70th birthday this weekend. To say it was beautiful and delicious doesn't do it justice. Sadly we ate the last slice today. Thoroughly recommend this shop.

Extremely disappointed, brought several slices of cake today after asking staff if they were all fresh. Assured that they were freshly made. When we tried the cakes it was clear they must have been sat in display cabinet for days! ‘Fresh cream’ crumbled it was so dry! The cake itself resembled a stale biscuit. Avoid at all costs!!

Modern day pirates. Expect daylight robbery if you are getting a birthday cake here. Cake colourings are spray painted on, leaving your tongue coloured which requires scraping and a jet wash with strong chemicals to get it off. Cake was incredibly dry. Even supermarket cakes are better than these pathetic “cakes”.
