FAQ

What is your school's curriculum and how does it differ from other preparatory schools?

Our school follows the National Curriculum of England, which sets out guidelines for what should be taught in each subject and at each key stage. We also incorporate a strong emphasis on Christian values and beliefs into all aspects of our teaching. This sets us apart from other preparatory schools, as we aim to develop well-rounded individuals who are not only academically strong, but also have a strong moral compass.

What are the admission requirements?

To be considered for admission to our school, parents must first complete an application form and submit it to the school office. We also require copies of the child's birth certificate and any relevant medical records. In addition, we may request academic records from the child's previous school, and may ask the child to complete an assessment or interview.

What is your approach to discipline and behavior management?

We have a clear behavior policy that outlines our expectations for student behavior and the consequences for breaking the rules. We believe in a positive approach to behavior management, where we praise and reward good behavior, rather than just punishing bad behavior. We also work closely with parents to ensure consistency between home and school, and offer support to students who may be struggling with behavior issues.

What support services are available for students and families?

We have a range of support services available for students and families, including a pastoral care team, a school counselor, and access to outside agencies if needed. We also have a Parent Teacher Association (PTA) that organizes events and activities to strengthen the school community.

What kind of extracurricular activities do you offer to enhance a child's overall development?

We offer a wide range of extracurricular activities to enhance a child's overall development, including sports teams, music lessons, art classes, drama clubs, and more. We believe that participating in these activities helps students develop important skills such as teamwork, creativity, and leadership. We also encourage students to pursue their own interests and passions, and offer support to help them do so.
