Rude and disrespectful. I explained my situation and they refused to offer help stating my negligence issue started & ended at age 15 which wasn’t the true. I explained multiple times that they’ve got it wrong although medical mistreatment was something i recognised as early as 15, it doesn’t mean my medical negligence case started and ended then. It is still on going and I’m dealing is injury’s and issues to this day. They refused to accept that & claimed my case is “out of date”. They refused to listen, they aren’t here to help at all, and do not care. She starts going off about money and whether my case would be worthy of their help and cost. After being spoken over and dealing with rudeness I asked for their complaints procedure which she refused to give to me . I asked to speak to someone else which she refused also, she said “this is my team and nobody is higher above me” which I highly doubt and struggle to believe. She then hung up the phone on me. Absolutely disgusting.

In 2021 I started a claim against a former employer for a work related injury. I found Oakwood solicitors by a simple google search. At first I did a short consultation over the phone which didn’t take long at all. I was then contacted by a solicitor called Asimah Ali. She took me threw all the steps of how things would go. Asimah is 100% professional. She kept me informed at every step and not once did I have to chase for an update. The case took around two years to complete. At some points I was unsure that we’d get a good result because of some discrepancies but Asimah kept on going and in the end we got a very satisfactory outcome. Very happy with the service provided and would recommend Oakwood solicitors to anyone searching for a solicitor.
