  I cannot recommend this company highly enough! The job I had for them was incredibly difficult. My old staircase was walled-in, narrow, far too steep and did not conform to regulations. In fact, the old staircase was so bad that other companies refused to touch it! I have included a picture of the old stairs below but the picture doesn't show how bad they really were. However, Edwards & Hampson were only too glad to help. When he found out that I was not mobile, the owner, Peter, kindly picked me up from my other address and drove us to the property in question. Straight away, I could see that he was an expert. He talked me through all my options and explained everything to me. After that, I was put in touch with Arran at the office. He was always patient with me, despite my endless questions. When it came to getting the actual work done, Mike and his crew were excellent. They worked tirelessly. Their overall job was very clean and efficient. I am so happy with the final product and I cannot argue with the price. I now have a wonderful new staircase that has completely revolutionised my property. Thank you very much!

  Had a new staircase fitted by EH to replace our old and tired looking staircase. The guys working on site were very efficient and tidy, and took their time to make sure everything was fitted correctly. We were originally going to see if we could rescue our existing stairs but thought for the slight increase in price, we may as well replace and we're so glad we did; the stairs look fantastic. I highly recommend EH. An established company you know you can trust.

  We ordered a solid oak staircase to replace and existing staircase, I stress the word Solid because when it came to installation it was anything but, oak veneer plywood had been used in parts. I agreed to a remedy which they never fully completed, they changed the design without consultation, three elements did not fit and two still don't, screws protrude though the staircase and there is a hole where the staircase was made incorrectly and doesn't fit. Now this apparently is my fault for not pointing these issues out even though they are supposed to be the professionals, these so called professionals don't inspect their own work and have no pride in their work, it's a bit take it or leave it. In my opinion I would strongly avoid using this company or if you do be a lot firmer than I was in insisting on getting exactly what you have agreed to pay for before agreeing to pay the final balance, we learn by our mistakes mine was having faith they would deliver what they promised. With regard to their response, as to be expected it is factually incorrect. The court only addressed the issue of the amount owing, the court ruled they they had no authority to rule regarding the repairs that are still outstanding because I had not filed the evidence correctly and without the evidence such as photo's they could not make a judgement, the court made no such ruling that the staircase was made to specification, for Edwards Hampson to suggest they did come as no surprise, they were awarded part of the claim but not the full amount, that's a fact. I was trying to keep costs down because I just wanted what I had ordered not what Edwards Hampson felt like installing, I will therefore be issuing my own lawsuit against the company which will now include a claim for damages not just the cost of the staircase. If any part of this review are incorrect Edwards Hampson are free to pursue me for online defamation and slander, something I encourage them to do, I doubt they will though because everything I have said here is a truthful account. Again in my opinion do not trust Edwards Hampson Ltd.

  It was a very pleasant experience to deal with everyone in Edwards & Hampson. Peter came out couple of times to quote us due to our change of plans. He is very knowledgeable, patient and easy to speak to. Arron has been extremely helpful through the whole process, explained all the details to us. He handled all the issues effectively and bear customers in mind. The fitters are very experienced and extremely helpful. They provide practical advices and think on customers' side. Our fitting is not very straight forward with other works to be done in between. They have been very flexible and understanding. The finished staircase is to a high standard. Overall, a great service from everyone in Edwards & Hampson. Have no hesitation to recommend them to anyone! Thank you.

  We approached E H Joinery for a new staircase for our showroom. Nothing was too much trouble from the initial contact right through to delivery and fitting all involved where polite, professional and did a fantastic job. So impressed with the job they done in our showroom, we used them for the new staircase when renovating our home and again they where exceptional. Would highly recommend E H Joinery to anyone.
