Communication few and far between, barrister rarely shows up, and court deadlines not met. When at the last hearing, representing myself due to the non-appearance of my counsel, the judge advised me to in no uncertain terms "sort them out"; being as appalled at the service as me. Who knows, perhaps the plan is to provide a service so poor as to result in a mistrial. Don't waste your time.
