It’s with a heavy heart I’ve got to write this, but I’m afraid to say they’ve lost their touch, or changed meat supplier. The last 3 times I’ve been haven’t been the best, a joint of beef I had was inedible it was that tough, luckily I’d only had half the joint, the other half was saved by cooking it 8 hours in a slow cooker, and the rib eyes I’ve had lately have been very tough, it’s quite sad as this is my “go to place” and because of my recommendation it’s been a lot of others too, I love cooking and class myself quite good, and regularly cook for people with confidence, but not now, have they changed suppliers I wonder. It’s heartbreaking, the blokes that work there are great, and usually food was great, but lately it’s definitely been in decline. Unless it’s a run of very bad luck, as I say, it’s not a “one steak then moan” review, it’s been the last 3 times I’ve had a very tough lot. I’ve been going for the last 5 years and always give the meat high praise , but sadly it definitely has changed somehow for the worse, I used to get melt in your mouth quality but just seems to have dropped a lot in standard😢 please howdles if you’ve changed something, then change back. “Heartbroken”.
