Very friendly environment and a very dynamic style of Aikido. Caters for all levels from complete beginner. You can trust the higher-graded people - they know what they're doing!

The atmosphere of this aikido club is collegial and friendly. The senior students are patient and helpful and the lack of any sense of competition or aggression was in line with my expectations of, and reasons for choosing, aikido as a martial art. The sensei is helpful and approachable but also expects a high level of precision in the techniques, which is important for effectiveness and safety. There is a sense that the skills learnt in the classes have intrinsic value but will also be beneficial if one had to defend oneself.
