A few nurses I had were really sweet and patient to me when I came in regarding self harm , one I saw a couple times and she seemed to care a lot, she told me I could go there to speak to her as well which I think was helpful and seemed that she genuinely wanted to help.

Nice polite receptionist and brilliant assistant at the door but Seen by old British white lady Which was one of the horrible racist doctor, Instead of asking about my medical She ask private questions about me like I’m a emigrate home office And after questioning which was nothing to do with my back pain Then she discharged me and say no help can be done. Dear Management what would be your explanation and investigation about this?

It doesn't seem to be any recent review about this walk-in centre , so all the other ones are not picturing the current situation: yes, the waiting hours are long ( rule is : the worst symptoms/ urgent care comes first) but in the end you are seen by a nurse or a doctor who can prescribe medication or can refer you to a more suitable department. Everyone is very nice and respectful, i went here 3 times in the past year: 2 times for my son and once for myself , we were treated with care and always had our situation sorted out. From the receptionist, to the triage nurse to the person who's seeing you, everyone was great.

Awful. Nurse at the front was so condescending and rude. I started to explain why I was there and she got angry at me and even rolled her eyes. Taking into account that it was the least busy time, at 1.30pm, there were only 5 people max waiting and she was acting like the world was ending and I was wasting the last 5 mins of her life. Vile, insensitive and unsympathetic woman, doesn't deserve the title of "nurse". With her bedside manner and lack of hospitality, I am shocked thay she is allowed by the managers to carry on like this.

This place is a Disgrace and is not worth of even one Star! There is this Nurse called Narangelina who knows nothing about her job and only made my Wound worse and nothing else when visited this place , I spoke with the manager about the issue and she was unbelievably rude and Pathetic , they really have to answer someone 😑 it is not frustrating but dangerous for the patients who trust These people.

I cannot believe why they have such low star rating, I’ve taken my daughter there and the staff was all extremely helpful and although it was quite busy, we didn't wait that long as I had expected. I had a great experience here, especially as its walk in, I was surprise at how well they attended everyone.

I was told by my GP to go to A&E in case there were urgent tests to be done, due to an ongoing problem with worsening symptoms that may need urgent care. After travelling to Edgware hospital for an hour, I saw a sign that said no A&E. A helpful member of staff told me I could still be seen in the walk in centre. There, another member of staff told me they couldn't run any tests in that walk-in centre, without specifying if they could ask for tests in the hospital 30 feet away from the affiliated walk-in centre. She said that I could be seen, however, and they would examine me. One hour later, I asked the receptionist if the wait was going to be long, as it could potentially be life threatening, and that if there was no triage and that they were likely to send me to A&E anyway, I would better off leaving now, as I had already wasted 2 hours. She was nice and helpful and referred me to the 1st nurse, who became mad at me, saying that I had accepted to wait to be seen so it was my fault, and nearly laughing when I mentioned it could be life threatening. I said I only waited because she told me I could be seen, but in an hour, no triage had been done. Then she added something that sounded odd at the time, saying that I was expecting "preferential treatment". I tried to reason with her and said that I didn't, but expected that they would follow healthcare best practice and evaluate the emergency of the situation (a life threatening problem like internal bleeding is usually dealt with before a cold), but she said again about me expecting "preferential treatment" and shouting at me. I left as she was wasting more of my time and I still had to go to another hospital and queue again, not knowing how long it would take for someone to finally evaluate my sitation. I only realise now that I was victim of bias for the way I look and/or my accent and that this is the reason she refused to treat me in a human way and that she yelled at me. It is critical that the NHS doens't authorise their staff to act with prejudice. Patients deserve to be treated with care and respect, and not to be judged and heir health issues prioritised because of how they look or where they come from.
