A beautiful final resting place for my grandma. For a woman who loved her garden and birds, it's just perfect for her (the birdsong was incredibly loud on the day we were there, it was wonderful!). The staff are lovely too and gave us all the time we needed. Burials happen all year round and trees are planted with each grave in the January/February. I've always found crematoriums to be rather bleak, whereas this place has a natural charm to it, and there's something rather special about returning a loved one's atoms to the earth to grow into something new. Sturdy boots or wellies are a must, especially if it's been raining.
