I am a father of two girls, both of them attend Eden school. I feel extremely lucky and proud that they are being schooled at Eden. Since its formation, Eden has been an exceptional school and continually aims to raise its standards. Eden is a friendly school where everyone is treated as part of one big family. Academically, they are the best in the borough, and one of the key factors to this is the unrelenting support the teachers provide their students, in achieving their best. As an example, students needing some extra help are encouraged to attend special intervention classes. Progress is monitored and parents are regularly kept up to date. Eden, not only focuses on academic results but also provides opportunities for students to attain life skills, through its learning; essential for the future. Eden has contributed immensely in nurturing my daughters into confident, disciplined and tolerant members of society. Eden, keep up the good work, long may it continue!

I have applied for a place at Eden Girls' School and I really hope that my daughter is accepted into Y7 and can join the Eden family in September. I know many children of friends and family who attend the school - it is their experiences that convinced me that this school is the one for my daughter. The school does achieve phenomenal results - it is the 12th best school in the country but also develops the child holistically. The students are regularly taking part in charitable endeavours supporting causes locally and globally - I was left in awe when I learnt that they raised roughly £20K for charity in a year. In addition, students are given lots of opportunities to learn outside of the classroom too, through trips and workshops. They have something called Leadership days where students get to experience the world of work, STEM is strongly promoted and I think this is inspiring for girls as it allows them to dream big and know that they can be whatever they want to be. All of the hard work they do is evident in the results they get; 30% of their Y11 leavers end up in top performing 6th forms and their first leavers are now being offered places at Oxbridge universities and onto medicine courses. The school has a faith designation and this is delivered implicitly similar to a Catholic or CofE school. Students are given the opportunity to pray and reflect on their faith and spirituality and also celebrate diversity, tolerance and respect - just at the end of last term they had the new Archbishop of York - Stephen Cotrell visit for a school assembly. The community is very proud of the school, no other school in London can offer what Eden Girls, Waltham Forest has to offer. I am hoping and praying an Eden Boys opens for my sons - as I feel that they are at a disadvantage with such a formidable girls school in our midst.

Just wanted to let folks know about my experience as a parent who’s daughter is now In year 9. She is the youngest of my 4 children and without doubt this is the best secondary school that any of my children have attended. The pastoral care is simply outstanding. Students are nurtured to be the best they can and encouraged to play an active role within the wider community. They’re taught the importance of responsibility ,tolerance, compassion and working for the common good. Academically the school is top notch , they support student of all abilities to achieve outstanding results. My daughter has received appropriate intervention when necessary and I have been kept informed of her progress. In terms of constructive criticism I would suggest eden works to improve the range and quality of school lunches.
