  Awful company High prices for a poor finish. Always get other companies to qoute you're requirements. As they will rush your job As they have no staff and a busy work load. The management have no clue with no building experience And It's embarrassing what they try to make the workers do. They cut corners. The company won't be around no longer than a few more years once they have to put right all there terrible work they over charge. There is nothing economic about this company

  We booked Robert Tiffin to do an energy assessment survey and then we used the team from Eco Tiffin to complete insulation work plus other repairs and maintenance on our house. We are really pleased with the end results and the house is much warmer. If we ever plan on any further works in future we would happily use Eco Tiffin again.   They were complete crooks. Over charged, ripped out bathroom to ‘fix’ a leak. 3 months later leak returned and they told us we’d have to rip out the bathroom again!! After multiple track and trace attempts we found a pipe they installed draining directly into substructure on top of copper pipes. Stay WELL CLEAR!! Very convincing but total crooks.   We engaged Tiffin group to complete an internal insulation project for us, along with a collection of other smaller property maintenance jobs. The “Tiffin difference” was immediately noticeable from the polite and courteous approach adopted by all members from the team. For us, that mattered a lot. We a young baby and the team were unfailingly mindful of that throughout the project which lasted several weeks. The work was carried out to a high standard. As with all projects we drew up a snagging list. All items were addressed to our satisfaction. What was most pleasing was that we paid the price we had been quoted. There was no “Gotcha” pricing at the end despite a couple of modifications to the original RFQ we had provided. If I had any criticism to offer it would be that some things took longer to sort than we had expected but, on the list of criticisms to be levelled at a construction firm, I found was manageable given all the other positives. We were left with a strong sense that Robert and the team were professional and reliable in their approach. We wil be using Tiffin Group for our next project.

  Robert Tiffin has been sorting out problems in my house that nobody else could fix for the last 15 years. He is the go-to-expert for all things house. He has been especially helpful with problems in relation to damp, and has succeeded where others have failed. On more than one occasion, I have left him and his team to get on with work in the house while I have been away. Recently, a strong team led by his project manager, Jerry, assisted by the highly skilled artisan Henry, did a very good decorating, rendering and fixing job on the exterior, front and back. Plus several sash window repairs. They were user friendly and considerate, and cleaned up every day before the left and very thoroughly at the end of the job. Highly recommended.

  I have known Robert Tiffin for 40 years or so and his company has done a lot of work for me during that time. In 1984 I bought a semi-derelict listed house in Rickmansworth. It needed a complete refurbishment including a large outbreak of dry-rot and various damp and woodworm problems. Tiffins carried out all the specialist work (I did a lot of the standard stuff myself due to limited funds) and this work was carried out well and there has ben no recurring problems. It is a very old building and quite delicate and so there have been other problems over the years (particularly with damp issues) and Tiffins has also remedied all these very well. In 2013 Tiffins demolished the garage and built a new, bigger building that complied with Listed issues, Conservation area and so on. The work was high quality. I also own a building in Holland Park and recently there was a very bad outbreak of dry rot. The building is approx 100 years old and the rot was quite bad covering the whole of the front wall. The ground floor is a commercial office with approx 16 people working in it. They had to be happy and I didn’t want them to move out while the work was carried out. Tiffins developed a plan that involved a false (external) wall across and inside the front wall which allowed the tenant to carry on working while the work was carried out. After some issues with scheduling the work at short notice the repairs were carried out very well and my tenants didn’t complain! Roberts advice on how to present the problem to my insurance company also resulted in a successful insurance claim. Robert and Tiffins people are very good a identifying the problems with buildings (often the problem with this kind of work is working out what the real problem is in the first place) and I have never known him to get it wrong.
