What are your policies on health and safety?

We take the health and safety of our children very seriously. We have strict policies in place to ensure that our facilities are clean and safe for our children. We conduct regular health and safety checks, and our staff is trained in first aid and emergency procedures.

What is your approach to discipline and behavior management?

We believe in positive reinforcement and encouraging good behavior rather than punishing bad behavior. Our teachers work closely with each child to help them understand the importance of good behavior and how it can help them succeed in the classroom and in life. We also work closely with parents to ensure that our approach to discipline is consistent both at school and at home.

My daughter has been going here for over a year now and it is a joy to see her grow and develop in such a fantastic setting with some wonderful support and care from the nursery staff. She dances in and skips out every day. The staff, led by Debbie, are superb; knowledgeable, caring and creative, they mix indoor play with outdoor exploration and learning. It’s just great to see a happy little person at the end of the day.

My eldest daughter has been at Norman Court since she was one, she attends 3 or 4 days a week and absolutely loves the staff, the environment and her fellow nursery friends. There isn't a single member of the team that doesn't greet you daily with great enthusiasm, they treat both parents and children with a welcoming and personal approach creating very special relationships with children and families as a whole. We love the fact that they spend a huge amount of time outdoors learning about nature and practical skills, our daughter starts school this September and they have helped hugely in nurturing a young individual who loves to learn through play. When we had our second daughter late last year we had absolutely no doubt that we wanted her to also attend Norman Court regardless of it being quite some distance from us. Our youngest daughter started at a very young age and the team have been brilliant at settling her in and reassuring us whenever necessary. It's already becoming clear that she will love it there as much as her sister does, we really couldn't recommend the team and the Nursery enough.

As a first time Mum sending your child to nursery is a daunting experience but the wonderful staff at Norman Court were kind, caring and understanding which made the process a lot easier. Our Son has been there several months now, he has a great routine and loves every minute. I am amazed at how quickly he has developed since being there and that is thanks to the highly dedicated and knowledgeable staff. Also you can't beat the beautiful setting and on-site forest school. Highly recommended.
