Solar Installation GivEnergy 3.6 kW inverter, GivEnergy 9.5 kWh battery and 12 x solar panels. Looked at a lot of companies to fit solar panels and associated electrical work. Lots of small companies with no technical knowledge, one very big company that seemed competent, but with high prices and massive lead times. Then the local company that demonstrated competence and professionalism. Eclipse Electrical Kenilworth came out as our preferred option. They listened to our requirements and proposed a system that fully met our needs. The price was competitive as well. The whole installation was handled very professionally and efficiently. Our system was fully commissioned at the end of November and although it’s late in the year has been regularly producing good power, up to 6 kWh a day. Having a battery with the system has meant we can top up with cheap off peak electricity at night as well. This means through December we have paid an average of £1.80 a day in electricity, including the standing charge! In the summer we hope not need any electricity from the grid at all and we are very much looking forward to being paid for the excess power we generate. We would recommend Eclipse to anyone for solar installations, and for that matter any electrical work.
