I contacted EchoMed after my wife had been admitted to hospital following an episode of UVT. My wife and I were obviously very concerned and wanted to have my wife’s health assessed immediately and were not keen on waiting for an NHS appointment, which may have taken weeks or months. From the first phone call conversation with Dr McLean, I was incredably impressed with his knowledge and understating of the health issue we had experienced . He spent over 30 minutes asking me about the events that had occurred and then gave me useful advice, even before an appointment had been made. 2 days later, my wife and I visited the clinic in Farnham. A number of tests were undertaken, quickly, sensitively and with expert explanation of the process and what investigations were being undertaken. Within 2 hrs we were given our test results, diagnosis, advice on treatment and invaluable information which could be used to manage future symptoms. I would highly recommend EchoMed and Dr Mclane to anyone who is concerned about their heart health, or to anyone who is awaiting referrals and needs medical information quickly. The whole process was incredibly efficient and the tests / Advice, of the highest quality. Finally , I believe the service provided by EchoMed is invaluable, especially at a time when the NHS is under significant pressure. Excellent service.

I felt welcomed and put at ease form the start. Everything was explained to me before the scan and Dr Maclean was very interested in gaining context around my medical history which was extremely reassuring. The results arrived minutes after the scan, Dr Maclean was very thorough in his explanations and was intrigued by a previous medical investigation of mine. After the appointment, I sent the contact details of the surgery to Dr Maclean, within 24 hours he had contacted the surgery, obtained the results of the investigation and could then further advise me on next steps. A true 5 star service. I was recommended EchoMed by a friend and I shall be doing the same.

I saw Dr Maclean for an Echocardiogram. He made me feel very welcome and explained the procedure very clearly, answering questions that I had. He was happy to review some cardiac tests I had had done elsewhere and spent time ensuring that I fully understood what they meant. The test itself was very thorough and he went through the results at the time and also sent a detailed report later, the same day. I received a fantastic level of care and as a retired nurse would recommend him and Echomed. Money well spent. Thank you so much. Feel very reassured.

Saw Dr Maclean today for a pre-operative ECG and Echo. He was absolutely thorough and conducted further tests to make sure my heart was fine as I had SVTs before.
