I attended my appointment. I have constant pain for 3 days on my right side of the stomach. Below the ribs and underneath. The doctor advised me the following. 1. That he ( dr) will write a letter to my GP. ( later he changed his mind and said make an appointment myself) 2. Was advised that he could send me to the hospital but waiting time is too long. They might admit you I said yes that is fine ( later he changed his mind)no recommendation to hospital was provided. 3. I was advised to have an ultrasound done. 4. I was advised to make an appointment with my GP 5. Was advised that he prescribe me some pain killers and keep taking them. ( later changed his mind) I did ask taking pain killer is not a solution as the cause of the pain must be established, I am not a doctor but speaking from my common sense. The doctor advised that this place provides emergency service and have limited facilities or services. The Point is that NHS 111 range 2 times and sent me to this place , when they knew this place has limited serviced available, why did they send me there?. The conclusion of all this confusing consultation is to get the pain killer and make an appointment with my GP.

I rate it 5 stars, however, if you are in a car, parking is at best difficult, parking is free, but fills up quickly, encouraging people to park on double yellows. It's a busy hospital, and I have no choice but to go here. I arrive much earlier than my appointment time just to try and get a parking space. Other than this, it's a great local community hospital, offering essential services.
