2 problems: fake pricing and they lost an item of my clothing. First problem, none of the pricing on their website is honored. They write "All pricing is indicative only and may vary depending on client specifications or needs." at the bottom to get away with deceiving customers and overcharging for their services. There was nothing special about the shirts I brought in - cotton oxfords, no stains, no major upkeep needed, was just taking them in for a regular cleaning. Second problem, I had a tie on one of my blouses. I didn't realize until I was home that it was missing because it was in between the pile of shirts I brought home. When I messaged the owner about it, he immediately started denying it, saying that they would never lose something like that. Look, I do not have "proof" that I 100% brought the shirt in with the tie but it's ALWAYS on the shirt because there's a loop for it around the collar. It's not like it slips out easily, it's pretty firmly on the shirt always. I have no reason to take it out and I have never done so. With every dry cleaner, I have brought it with the tie in it so it can also get cleaned and pressed as it sits around my neck. I didn't take a picture of me handing them the shirt because why would I -- I wasn't expecting them to lose it!!! Honestly, the price thing didn't bother me much. Charging £9 per shirt rather than the listed £6.50 isn't the absolute worst thing in the world. But the owner was rude and now I have an item missing from a very expensive shirt I wear to work, and I can find a replacement online sure, but I have to pay for it and I wish they just didn't lose it.
