Eatons are one of the worst firms I have ever dealt with. Eatons were the conveyancers for the buyer's when we sold our house, and they were completely incompetent throughout the process. We ended up exchanging contracts on the morning of completion because of how rubbish they were. They sat on the file for months without raising any enquiries, they raised enquiries they already had the answer to, they misled us on when we were able to exchange, they were almost impossible to get hold of throughout the process, they appeared to have forgotten to do basic things (obtaining ID and source of funds) until a few days before completion, buyers were waiting on them for days just to send bank details for a deposit transfer, the list goes on. Avoid at all costs, an awful company based on my experience.
