The good service & cleanliness is as expected from any Eat Tokyo chain. Reasonably fast. Why 3 stars? Because for a hefty price of £22 + VAT the una-jyu was disappointing. Rice was way overcooked, soggy, and so was the eel (unagi). *See the picture! The tare (sauce) is weirdly sweet and sour, didn't taste exactly like what unagi kabayaki usually tastes. They provided sansho, but was so blend that I put so much on the unagi - still can hardly taste it. I'd expected better quality for the price. Having said that, everything else was ok, convenient location, and I like that it has earlier opening hours from 11:30 AM.

Tucked away just off Oxford Street is this great little Japanese restaurant. They have a huge selection ranging from ramen, to sushi and tempura and more. It tastes good, the portions are generous and the staff are welcoming and helpful. Its not as pricy as many central London eateries, and well worth the visit. My new fave for lunch in that part of the West End. No booking required. Vegetarian options: They have a wide selection of vegetarian options - if that's what you want there are lots of good choices.
