    The entire hotel was a deception from the website and pictures and was defo not worth £250 for two nights. I cut my stay short after disappointment and didn’t stay the 2nd night. I have heard other easy hotels around the UK are to a much higher standard so I’m not sure if it’s just this branch or the brand in general. I had train cancellations and arrived around 9pm to check in and was told I should’ve arrived sooner to get my ground floor or 1st floor room and that I now had to have a room on the top floor. There was no lifts or help offered carrying heavy luggage all the way to the top floor with narrow and steep attic- like stair cases. It was made clear this was my fault for not arriving earlier although my room was pre booked and pre paid. The room (double) was exceptionally small with a tiny window. Felt like a prison cell. I have seen university accommodations bigger than this so called double room. The bathroom was basically a toilet in the shower. Not even a bedside table, lamp or nearby plug. Had to keep my personal items and luggage open on the minimal space on the floor. No hand wash or shower gel in the bathroom and a struggle to get hot water running in the shower. Overall, not a great experience here, I won’t be returning and I would not recommend.
