Ordered a test for my dog , took 4 weeks to be tested from the time I received the acknowledgment of the test being received. I had to talk to somebody as the generic age test was showing not received however after the chat it was showing processing. On week 3 I asked for an update and was told it would be another 2 - 3 weeks , eventually I got the results a few days later but the staff on chat are rude and to be honest I don’t trust the results as they almost impossible to be correct

I recently received the results of my cat's CatCheck (Feline) Genetic Disease Test and I couldn't have been happier! The test and results were extremely detailed and the normal results really put my mind at ease, as he's an older cat who came to us last year, and so we don't know his history at all. It was also really interesting to find out things like his blood group, colouring expression etc. The results were delivered on time and the purchase system and sample collection were super simple. Would highly recommend!

My first animal allergy kit arrived incomplete so I had to ask for another test. The website states that you'll receive your results within 3 weeks. I relied on this information and it was one of the reasons I chose Easy DNA for my animal allergy test. More than 3 weeks have passed and I still don't have my results. When I complained, they just said that in their 12 year history they've never been late with results (although there are other complaints online about the same thing) and that the timeframes are illustrative only. Their terms on the other hand state that they will endeavour to meet timeframes for delivery of results. Very disappointed as I've wanted the allergy results asap and the company have not given any justification for the delay and are unwilling to commit to any date of giving the results. Contrary to their response, my sample reached them on 13 April, they only tested it and responded on 9 May, which is over 3 weeks.

Test arrived within the time they advised, and was easy enough to use. After I returned the dna sample they emailed me to let me know that it had been sent to the lab, and that I should check for updates online between 2 - 3 weeks, not including weekends, and Bank Holidays. I received the results just within the time scale, which considering we were in the middle of lockdown I thought was pretty amazing. Turns out my boy is intolerant to 18 items, 17 foods, and 1 environmental. The results have helped my dog a lot, as I have a guideline now where as before it was a guessing game.... the test was well worth the money
