The room was gorgeous apart from the shower, old and not very powerful, considering what we paid. Location beautiful. They ran out of our favourite lager and two things on the menu were not available. Rooms : 3/5 | Service : 2/5 | Location : 5/5 Hotel highlights Great view, Romantic, Quiet … More

We got a Black Friday deal and headed off for our Spa day. The restaurant, treatment rooms & reception were lovely. The same could not be said for the pool area. I sent photos and raised a complaint. I was offered a complimentary day which I waited months before booking to allow time for the issues I raised to be rectified. We went back yesterday and it was even worse. Some issues were a health hazard. I have shared my photos with the company. I will not be returning.

Walkability: Plenty of signed walks in the large rural landscape. Food & drinks: A delicious high tea in the library with wonderful piano playing in the distance. Luxurious and grand surroundings. Very special!

I cannot express enough how overrated this place is. The reviews here are so misleading. Let's get started: The road to the hotel is full of holes (not a good impression from the very start) The estate roads are not lit at night so be prepared to step into a deep puddle between the car park and the reception Dinner menu on their website is a lie (it was my bf's bday and we were so excited about the ceviche, lobster thermidor and the wagyu steak - guess what, they had none of these!). Also didn't have the seafood tagliatelle or the bakewell tart. The fish of the day was - you would think something exquisite- just salmon! The "seasonal" risotto is a simple butternut squash risotto. We were left with the lamb option which had no taste/seasoning Spa has signs around the pool to say the floor is wet (no way!) but they don't think to put a non slip mat all around Some jets in the jacuzzi don't work (or they don't want to turn them on) Jacuzzi water has a weird smell No wifi or signal anywhere on the estate Kettle in room was broken Robes and towels are low quality and overused Room and the hotel generally run down it cannot be 4 star Cheap tasting coffee for breakfast Cheese from breakfast looked like it's been sitting there for days Service for breakfast was very slow even though the restaurant was only 1/3 full The only good-ish thing is the spa but you might as well use your local pool (i.e. not worth the £134 or whatever they charge for a spa day)

Love this place. Stayed here a few weeks ago and already planning my next. The grounds are superb, its peaceful, picturesque and the food was bang on delicious. I just love the space. Had a facial in the spa with Natalie, she was exceptional and can't wait to let her work her magic again soon. Room was decent and clean. My only criticism as this will now be my regular escape in the hope for some improvement is the service in some areas. At the bar felt like I was interrupting the bar man from his screen and rushed. I was also disappointed with the cocktail I received. I hardly drink and was so looking forward to a first class well made cocktail in a place like this but it was like something I'd get from a Wetherspoons, took 30 seconds to make, no garnish and in a wishy washy glass. Please please up your cocktail game peeps as I love you and I can't wait to come again when I need a break from the kids. I'm just a knackered mum who enjoys a Negroni and a spa treatment once in a blue :)

Lovely spa day at Eastwell Manor. Cannot fault the spa and treatments. Lovely welcome from staff. Service was a little slow at lunchtime but food was delicious. If I had to find fault, the toilets by reception were not particularly welcoming Service : 4/5 | Location : 5/5 Hotel highlights Quiet … More
