Really good service, from the admin side, to the Chartered Surveyor; Stuart Blick, whose level 3 survey of a property I was going to purchase uncovered some structural issues that could have cost me a fortune to repair had I followed through with the purchase. The survey report was comprehensive, but also readable and digestible for the layperson (me!) to understand the technicalities of what the building issues were. And with an estimate of the potential cost of work to make the property good, I was fully enabled to make a decision on whether to follow through or negotiate on price with this purchase. Thoroughly recommend Easton Bevin. A definite 5/5!!!

My father paid over £700 for a Major Defects survey. The report was detailed but wrongly identified the conservatory construction as upvc and single glazed. A builder pointed out that the survey was incorrect; it was timber and double glazed. We asked for a 50% refund to help pay for another surveyor. They said it was only a minor mistake and an apology was offered. However, an apology doesn't stop me worrying about what else may be wrong in the report.
